Woodfired Garlic Tornado Potatoes

Ingredients

4 medium size potatoes, washed and scrubbed

3 tsp. Kinder’s Woodfired Garlic Rub

3 tbsp. butter

3 tbsp. Italian parsley, chopped finely

3 tbsp. fresh parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Step 2

Microwave the potatoes for 1 minute. Leave in the microwave for a few minutes to cool and then remove.

Step 3

Insert a wooden skewer into the bottom of each potato and gently push all the way through the potato. Try to keep the skewer in the center of the potato. Then working in a spiral motion, from one side to the other, hold a sharp thin knife at an angle and cut in the opposite direction you are turning the skewered potato. Continue spiraling the potato, as you cut evenly all the way down the potato. Take your time!

Step 4

Once you have your potatoes spiraled, gently fan out each potato down the length of the skewer, until you have gaps between each slice.

Step 5

In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. Brush potatoes with butter, coating them evenly.

Step 6

Once your potatoes are buttered up, lightly dust the potatoes with Kinder’s Woodfired Garlic Rub thoroughly.

Step 7

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until browned.

Step 8

Transfer to serving dish and top with parsley and parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
