Woodfired Chili Turkey and Sweet Potato Bowl


1 lb. Ground turkey

2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

3 Cups cooked quinoa or rice

1 Avocado

1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Kinder’s Woodfired Chili seasoning, 1 Tbsp

Kinder’s Red Garlic seasoning , 1 tsp

Kinder’s Maple Rub , 2 tsp

Cilantro (optional)


Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F

Step 2

Add cubed sweet potatoes to a large bowl, drizzle with vegetable oil (enough to coat) and season with Kinder’s Maple Rub. Toss to coat evenly

Step 3

Bake sweet potatoes until fork tender, about 20 minutes

Step 4

Prepare quinoa or rice according to package instructions

Step 5

In skillet over medium high heat, heat vegetable oil and brown turkey, season with Kinder’s Woodfired Chili seasoning and cook all the through

Step 6

In a sauce pan over medium heat, warm black beans, and season with Kinder’s Red Garlic seasoning

Step 7

Assemble in a bowl: quinoa or rice topped with sweet potatoes, turkey, and black beans.

Step 8

Garnish with sliced avocado and cilantro
