1 packet Kinder’s Woodfired Chili Seasoning
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup water or broth
1 15 oz. can kidney beans
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
6-8 hot dogs
6-8 hot dogs buns
1-2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, diced
Step 1
In a medium pot, brown ground beef for 7-10 minutes on medium high heat, stirring often to break meat up.
Step 2
Once ground beef has been browned, add 1 packet of Kinder’s Woodfired Chili Seasoning and stir, making sure the seasoning coats the meat evenly.
Step 3
Add the water/broth, diced tomatoes and kidney beans. Bring to a boil for 3-5 minutes, then reduce heat to a low and simmer for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Preheat outdoor gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat (400 – 425°F), set up for indirect cooking with 2 heat zones.
Step 5
Grill hot dogs to your preferred liking. Remove from the grill and set aside.
Step 6
Toast buns to your liking.
Step 7
Top hot dogs with chili, cheddar cheese, and diced green onions.
