Thai BBQ Fried Catfish Filet


4 catfish filets (about 4oz each)

3 Tbsp Kinder’s Thai BBQ Rub

1 Cup rice flour

1 qt oil for frying

Cilantro, to taste

Limes, to taste


  1. Setup fryer in pot that is sized so oil only takes up ½ of the depth. Bring temperature up to 350F. 
  2. Season fillets evenly with Kinder’s Thai BBQ Rub. When seasoned, lightly dust in rice flour before transferring to fryer.  
  3. Fry until golden brown and crispy. Should take about 4 to 5 minutes.  
  4. Garnish with fresh limes, cilantro, and favorite sides.
