Slow Cooked Hickory Molasses Ribs


2 St. Louis Rib Racks

12oz. light beer (pilsner)

2 yellow onions, large dice

6 garlic cloves, crushed

10 Tbsp Kinder’s Hickory Molasses Rub


Step 1

Pre heat oven to 275°F.

Step 2

If membrane is not removed from bottom of rack remove. Season both sides, with Hickory Molasses Rub, utilizing 2 ½ Tablespoons per side.

Step 3

Allow to sit for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Chop up onions and crush garlic and evenly distribute into braising pan.

Step 5

Pour beer over vegetables and add enough water or stock to just reach the top of the vegetable layer.

Step 6

Place ribs on top of vegetables and cover tightly with aluminum foil.

Step 7

Place in oven and bake at 275°F for 3 hours. Ribs are done when completely tender.

Step 8

Allow to cool, can be finished on a grill to elevate flavor and texture and or paired with your favorite Kinder’s BBQ Sauce.
