Roasted Garlic Salt Pinto Beans


1 lb. dried pinto beans, rinsed and picked through

3 strips uncooked bacon, chopped (optional)

1 small onion, diced

1 Tbsp Kinder’s Roasted Garlic Salt

6 Cups water


Step 1

Turn instant pot on and select SAUTE mode. When hot, add bacon and cook 4-6 minutes.

Step 2

Add water, beans, Kinder’s Roasted Garlic Salt and onions

Step 3

Place the lid on and lock it. Turn Instant Pot to MANUAL mode with HIGH PRESSURE selected for 45 minutes.

Step 4

Once cooked, allow pressure to release naturally, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

Open the Instant Pot and remove bacon (or don’t :) and let rest for a few minutes to allow the beans to cool. Stir and serve with favorite toppings. Enjoy!
