2 cans navy beans
3 strips of bacon
1 small yellow onion
1 garlic clove, minced
2 jalapeños (optional…if you like it spicy)
1.5 cups Mild BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup chicken stock
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325F.
Step 2
Char Jalapeños under broiler or on stove top in hot pan.
Step 3
Remove seeds, and chop into small pieces.
Step 4
Cut bacon strips into small strips, and render on stove top in 2 quart pot over medium low heat.
Step 5
Once color starts to form add In minced garlic and allow to lightly cartelize.
Step 6
Add in diced onion and allow to cook for 5-7 minutes or until translucent.
Step 7
Add in beans, bbq sauce, and stock and bring to a simmer.
Step 8
Place in 325F oven and bake for 20 minutes.
