1 lb frozen meatballs
1 jar marinara sauce
4 oz. shredded parmesan cheese
4 tsp. Kinder’s Mediterranean Seasoning
1/3 cup fresh basil, sliced
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat, place 2 tbsp. mounds of parmesan cheese 2 inches apart. Spread cheese to make one thin layer into a circle. Repeat until you have 10-12 cheese circles on baking sheets. Dust the top of the cheese with half of the Kinder’s Mediterranean Seasoning.
Step 3
Bake until cheese is melted and slightly browned around the edges, 5-7 minutes.
Step 4
Remove cheese from oven and let cool for one minute. Using a spatula, gently remove the cheese from the baking sheet and place inside of a muffin tin. Be sure to push the bottom of the cheese down flush to the bottom of the muffin tin to ensure the cheese cups will sit flat, once they cool. Let rest for at least 10 minutes.
Step 5
In a medium skillet, brown the meatballs on medium-high heat. Remove from skillet and place on a paper towel, to eliminate excess grease. Set aside.
Step 6
Reduce heat to medium-low and add the marinara sauce as well as the other half of the Kinder’s Mediterranean Seasoning to the pan. Stir frequently.
