1 packet (or 4 tbsp) Kinder’s The Taco Blend Seasoning
1 lb ground beef
1 10oz can diced tomatoes & green chilis (ex. Ro-Tel)
1 16oz box of Velveeta cheese, cut into 1-2 inch cubes
1 can of black beans
1 medium-sized jalapeno, deseeded and diced finely
1 cup sour cream
1 bag tortilla chips
Optional: 1/2 cup pico de gallo
Optional: hot sauce
Step 1
Heat a large skillet at medium high heat. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes, stirring often.
Step 2
Add Kinder’s The Taco Blend Seasoning packet and stir, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer taco meat to the slow cooker and add Velveeta, Ro-Tel, black beans, jalapeno and sour cream. Cook on high for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Reduce the slow cooker temperature to warm, once the cheese is completely melted.
Step 4
Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping. Top with a couple splashes of your favorite hot sauce and/or pico de gallo for added flavor. Enjoy!
