Grilled Teriyaki Pineapple Turkey Burgers


1 ½ lb ground turkey

1 red onion, sliced into rings

1 (8 oz.) can pineapple rings, drained juice reserved

Salt and pepper

4 hamburger buns

1 head butter lettuce

2 Tbsp + ¼ Cup Kinder’s Teriyaki Sauce

¼ Cup Kinder’s Mild BBQ Sauce

  1. Heat grill on high.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine ground turkey, 2 Tbsp of Teriyaki Sauce and 2 Tbsp of pineapple juice.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 parts and form patties slightly larger than hamburger bun.
  4. Season burgers with salt and pepper.
  5. Oil grill. Place burgers, pineapple and onion rings onto grill.
  6. Cook pineapple & onion for 3 minutes on each side, enough time for grill marks.
  7. Cook turkey burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and meat thermometer registers 165°F in the center.
  8. Place burger, pineapple and onion on toasted bun with lettuce.
  9. Mix ¼ Cup Mild BBQ Sauce with ¼ Teriyaki Sauce.
  10. Pour sauce over each burger. Serve and enjoy!
