4 NY Steaks, about 1 1/4 inch thick, or steak of your choice (thickness and cut will determine cooking time)
Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse Rub
Step 1
Blot steak dry and season generously with Buttery Steakhouse Rub. Let steak sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat grill on high to 450 °F, then grill steak for 4-5 minutes.
Step 3
Turn down grill to medium heat, flip steak and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Step 4
The steak will continue to cook after it is pulled off of the grill. We like to pull our steak o at 115 °F, wrap with foil, and let it rest for 10 minutes to reach 130 °F before cutting.
Step 5
*Tip: we like to pull our steaks off the grill at these temperatures for the following levels of doneness. The steaks will continue 100-105 Rare; 115 Medium Rare; 130 Medium; 145 Well Done
