Classic Grilled Steak


2 NY Steaks, about 1 1/4 inch thick, or steak of your choice (thickness and cut will determine cooking time)

The Blend Seasoning (enough to generously season all sides of your steak


Step 1

Remove steak from refrigerator and blot dry. Season generously with The Blend on all sides. Let steak sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat BBQ on high until it reaches 450 F.

Step 3

Grill steak on for 4-5 minutes.

Step 4

Turn down BBQ to medium heat and flip the steak. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes

Step 5

Flip steak again and check temperature of steak with thermometer for desired doneness. Remember that the steak will continue to cook after it is pulled of the BBQ. We like to pull steak off at 120 degrees, and let it rest until it reaches 130 F for a medium rare steak..

Step 6

Cover steak with foil and let rest for at least 5 minutes. The steak will continue to cook at this point and can reach another 10-15 degrees.
