2-3 onions chopped – about 2 cups
8 celery stalks, diced
3/4 cup butter
2 Tablespoons Buttery Steakhouse Rub
12 cups toasted bread cubes
1 bunch of parsley, leaves finely chopped
3-4 cups chicken broth
black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery and cook until softened but not browned. Add Buttery Steakhouse Rub and stir to combine.
Place bread cubes in a large bowl and combine with onion and celery mixture.
Pour 3 cups of broth over bread cubes and gently mix. If dry, you can add additional broth until desired texture is reached.
Taste for seasoning, adding more Buttery Steakhouse Rub and pepper as desired.
Place mixture in oven safe dish. Cover and bake for about 35 minutes.
Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown on top. Enjoy!
