Build Your Own Mild BBQ Pizza

Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza crust or dough rolled out to pizza size

.5 to 1 Cup Mild BBQ Sauce (depending on size and desired sauciness)

1 Cup shredded Mozzarella

Protein of choice (grilled chicken, pulled pork, tri tip..sky’s the limit)

3 strips bacon, crumbled

1/4 red onion, sliced

Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Step 1

Spread BBQ sauce on crust to desired level of sauciness, leaving a half inch around perimeter for crust. (Bonus tip: lightly oil the un-sauced section and season with BBQ rub like Tequila Lime for a crust everyone will eat!)

Step 2

Cover sauce with shredded mozzarella, and all other chosen toppings aside from fresh cilantro

Step 3

Bake according to dough instructions, remove from oven, top with fresh ingredients and a drizzle of sauce
