4 bone in, skin on chicken breasts, excess fat trimmed
2 Tablespoons neutral oil
Kinder’s Brown Sugar Rub
Kinder’s Mild BBQ Sauce (or your favorite BBQ Sauce)
Step 1
Preheat the grill to high (450°F). If using charcoal, set up grill for direct and indirect grilling.
Step 2
Blot chicken dry with paper towels.
Step 3
Lightly coat chicken with oil and generously season all sides with Brown Sugar Rub.
Step 4
Place chicken on grill, skin side down and cook for about 4 minutes. Flip chicken and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Move chicken to indirect heat (or decrease heat to about 375) and continue to grill for about 35 minutes, tuning every 5 minutes.
Step 5
When chicken reaches about 155°F, baste with BBQ sauce (if using).
Step 6
Continue to cook for 5-8 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Step 7
Remove chicken from grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
Step 8
Serve with BBQ Sauce if desired. Enjoy!
