2 Bone-in Pork Chops (14-16oz)
Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
We recommend brining your pork chops with our Woodfired Garlic Seasoning Brine. This step is optional but recommended for optimal tenderness and moisture.
Preheat your grill with a two-zone cooking setup by placing lit charcoal on one side of the grill, aiming for a direct heat temp of 500°F. Cover and allow it to preheat for 10–15 minutes.
Prepare your Pork Chops: If brined, remove the pork chops from the brine and pat dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear. Lightly season with salt and pepper. If not brined, apply salt and pepper more generously for optimal flavor.
Sear over high heat: Place the pork chops on the hot side of the grill and sear for 3–5 minutes per side until a rich, golden-brown crust forms.
Finish with indirect heat: Transfer the chops to the cooler side of the grill, positioning the bones toward the heat. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 135°F.
Just before removing them, brush both sides with Kinder’s Bourbon Apple BBQ Sauce for a flavorful glaze.
