BBQ Chicken, Cheese & Bacon Sliders


3 chicken breasts, pounded 3/4″ thick

2 Tbsp olive oil

6 pieces of thick cut bacon, cooked and cut into 3 pieces each

1 package of pre-sliced white cheddar cheese quarters

1 jar dill pickle slices

1 package of sweet rolls, 16 pack

Cali’s Blackened Rub

Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl toss chicken with olive oil and season to taste with Cali Blackened Rub.
  3. Place on a non-stick or foil lined baking sheet.
  4. Place in the oven for 20 minutes, remove and brush generously with BBQ Sauce.
  5. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until cooked through, with an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
  6. Remove and cut into 16 equal size squares approximately the size of the bun or slightly bigger.
  7. Put pickle(s) on the bun base first, then cheese, chicken and finish with bacon. Place top of bun on and press gently. Serve Immediately. Enjoy!
