4 bone-in chicken thighs
2 apples, cored and cubed (Gravenstein or gala, recommended)
1 yellow onion, sliced
1/4 cups apple cider or juice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/3 cup Kinder’s Mild BBQ Sauce
1/2 tablespoon Kinder’s The Blend
Step 1
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat
Step 2
Brown chicken thighs on both sides and season with Kinder’s The Blend
Step 3
Add browned thighs to slow cooker with chopped apples
Step 4
In same skillet, cook onion until translucent and stir in Kinder’s Mild BBQ Sauce and apple juice
Step 5
Add onions and sauce to slow cooker and cover. Cook on low heat for 4 hours or until chicken reaches 165 degrees internal
