Our new Cuban Blend Rub is inspired by the bright citrus and garlic flavors of traditional Cuban-style mojo marinade. We start with a blend of real orange and lime juices, then add in garlic, oregano, sea salt, and a hint of jalapeno. The result is a flavorful rub that works just as great in the oven as it does on the grill. This rub is perfect for chicken, pork, fish, veggies, and more. We can’t wait for you to try it.

Rubbed a pork tenderloin with the Cuban blend and let it marinade for a few hours. Broiled it in the oven and we loved it! The flavor was delicious – we enjoyed the citrus burst but it was well balanced with herbs and garlic. It was such an easy way to jazz up a normally boring dinner!! I think it would also work well with chicken or fish too – that’s the next items I’ll try it with!!

As a west coast resident, I don’t think I have ever had Cuban food. I have always heard good things from our East Coast friends that eat it on a regular basis. So when I got this product at work, I work with Kinder’s, I was excited to try it. We have used it on pork chops and also mixed vegetables, and on both occasions, we moved the results. The product has a cumin punch that many ethic seasonings have, but it was well balanced with the notes of citrus, garlic and onion. If this is what Cuban food tastes like, I can’t wait to try more. We plan to use it on halibut next and I think the blank canvas that the fish provides will be a wonderful carrier for this flavor explosion.
