As an employee of Kinder’s, I had the opportunity to sample this early but last night was the first time my family tried it…everyone loved it! I used it on a simple chicken and pasta dish with a little olive oil, the kids devoured it!

I have tried this twice now since receiving this product and have been impressed both times. It isn’t a super unique or exotic flavor profile, it pretty much hits on the notes in the name, black pepper and Parmesan. The first time I tried it was on chicken thighs. I mixed it with plain Panko and breaded some chicken thighs before baking them. I sprinkled some additional seasoning over the top and popped them in a 425 degree oven until they were crisp and cooked through. As someone who loves black pepper, I loved them. My wife thought the pepper was bordering on too much, but that was likely based on how much I used, I went pretty heavy, rather than the product itself. To confirm this, the second time I used it, I did a very simple pasta with butter and this seasoning. That’s it, perfectly cooked linguine, tossed in a few pats of unsalted butter and several shakes of the seasoning. Everyone loved the simplicity and the flavor. Because I had salted my pasta watery, it didn’t even need any additional salt, but I did taste it before serving to be sure. I have worked with Kinder’s for the last several years and while this isn’t a flavor that pushes anyone’s flavor boundaries, it is a staple item that I will use to enhance tons of stuff on a weekly basis. I plan to try it next in a Caesar salad and as a garlic bread seasoning. I believe it will be a lot like The Blend for us, always next to the stovetop and gets used almost daily for a variety of dishes.

I made some air fryer French fries and wanted to jazz them up so I sprayed them with a little olive oil & sprinkled a generous amount of the cracked pepper Parmesan seasoning. What an easy way to kick up a simple French fry. We will definitely recreate these again – give them a try!
