Omg, the flavors from this kit is priceless, who knew this little kit will have so much delicious flavors hidden, I surprised my husband with chicken, I brined it for a day, oh boy!! It was a hit, now I’m brave to try it with turkey, my Aunt has been hosting Thanksgiving for years and she now uses this brine kit too. I’m proud to say I work for this company, I like how we have expanded on our own family traditions that have been around for generations and now Kinders is a part of that. The best part is that it is not just for the holidays, it can be used all year around.

Used the Brine Kit and smoked a turkey

    Mike Hadley

This brine kit worked very well overnight. I smoked a 13 lb turkey on a RecTeq 700 pellet grill at 250 degrees for 5 hours and it turned out one of the best turkeys that I have ever cooked. This is the first time I have brined a turkey overnight and this brine did the trick!!

I brined my 21 lb turkey for 3 day’s prior to Thanksgiving. I did use chicken broth and water, instead of all water. I also used olive oil on the turkey before I applied the rub.
The turkey that resulted from using this product was AMAZING! I was told by EVERYONE that ate the turkey that it was the best turkey they had ever eaten!
I am now in charge of making the Turkey for every year to come!
Thank you for such a great product! You have a customer for life!

    Beyond tremendous.

I just happened to notice this kit at Costco. I’ve always been curios about brining and thought we could at least use the bag. My son said let’s give it a go so we used the brine spices and also the rub. It turned out to be the best turkey we’ve ever had. It was moist, tender, and very tasty all the way through with being anywhere near overwhelming. Just enough flavor to take the boredom out of turkey. As a bonus, the gravey was delicious. We have NO desire to ever make another turkey without the Kinder kit.

I used the brine portion, not the rub. Best turkey ever and so much easier than making your own brine. Less salty too.

I loved the 2 step kit – brine and rub. The brine gave the meat excellent flavor and moisture throughout even though I had to cut the time in half. Then the buttery rub produced beautiful golden, crispy skin and even more amazing flavor. Definitely will be using this kit again.

Bought this at the store to try my skills at roasting a turkey for the first time. Easy instructions, and the fresh turkey my work gifted us for Thanksgiving turned out AMAZING! Super flavorful and so juicy. Was very nervous about the bird being too salty, but it was not. 5 stars Kinders!

    Made me like turkey!

    Denise

I have never been a turkey fan. Even the best of turkeys didn’t do it for me. Last year I picked up a box of this and used it on some chickens and they were great. I bought another box for Thanksgiving and brined my 16 lb turkey for 24 hours and slow roasted it at 190° for 12 hours and then upped the temp to brown with a glaze of butter. It was absolutely deliciously moist and flavorful. We did have some leftovers as I didn’t have a large crowd but the entire turkey was finished off in a few days with just hubby and me making sandwiches or reheating it with gravy. My dogs were disappointed as they generally get quiet a bit of leftover turkey!! I am trying to find a box now and NO ONE has any! I highly recommend this to anyone making that turkey for Christmas or chickens to rotisserie.

    Tender, juicy, delicious smoked turkey

    David Baughman

I used this brine + rub kit for a Turkey on Christmas and it produced the best turkey I have ever tasted. Normally, I prefer the dark meat because the breast tends to get dried out and lack flavor, but this was just the opposite. The brine makes the breast meat so ridiculously juicy and flavorful that the dark meat tastes boring in comparison.

I smoked the turkey on my Traeger grill, and the low-and-slow cooking definitely contributed to the tenderness of the meat. If you’re cooking in an oven, I’d suggest roasting the same way as you would on a smoker: Begin roasting at 225 F for about 3 hours, then at 350 F until the internal temp reaches 165 F. There’s no need to put the turkey in a bag while roasting, because the brining process ensures that the meat won’t dry out.

This is the best turkey brine I’ve ever had and everyone wanted more. Next time need a bigger turkey or more than one to be able to have leftovers.

As long as it’s available, I will never not use this brine when making a turkey! I used it for the first time this past Thanksgiving. I brined it, then smoked it on my pellet grill at 325, along with a smoking tube, until it reached 165. It was the best turkey I ever had. People who didn’t normally like turkey were coming back for seconds. I’ve made another since with the same results. The taste is incredible!
