Deviled Eggs with Brown Sugar Bacon

Ingredients

12 eggs

3 pieces of Brown Sugar Bacon or regular bacon, crumbled

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup Cali Gold BBQ Sauce

2 tbsp. of scallions or chives for garnish

1 tbsp. of paprika for garnish

  1. Step 1

    Place eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan and cover with cool water by 1 inch.

  2. Step 2

    Heat on high until water begins to boil.

  3. Step 3

    Turn heat to low and continue to cook for 1 minute.

  4. Step 4

    Remove from heat and leave covered for 12 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Transfer cooked eggs to bowl of ice water and allow to cool completely.

  6. Step 6

    Crack egg shells under cool water, dry set aside.

  7. Step 7

    Slice eggs lengthwise, gently remove yolk halves and place in mixing bowl. Set egg white halves on serving dish.

    Using a fork, mash the yolks into into a fine crumble.

  9. Step 9

    Add mayo & Cali Gold BBQ Sauce and mix together until you get a creamy consistency.

  10. Step 10

    Pipe or spoon mixture into egg white halves.

  11. Step 11

    Top with with paprika, bacon & scallions or chives. Serve & enjoy!
