Grilled Chicken Lollipops

To make the chicken "lollipops", use a sharp knife to cut through the meat on the smaller end of the drumstick, just under the joint. The knife should be perpendicular to the bone and be sure to go all the way around. This may take a couple of times around to be sure you get through the skin, meat and tendons.
Using your hands, push the meat down toward the larger end of the drumstick (away from the end with the exposed bone). This exposes the bone and forms a "lollipop" shape. Repeat for all 12 drumsticks.
Season drumsticks generously with The Blend Seasoning.
Remove any excess skin from the top of the exposed end and wrap in foil if desired to prevent charring.
Set up grill for indirect grilling. You are looking for a temperature of about 300 degrees.
Pace chicken lollipops over the indirect side of the grill, standing on their ends, with the exposed end facing up to maintain shape.
Cover and cook for about an hour , or until the internal temperature reaches 165 F.
Brush with BBQ Sauce and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Remove from the grill and cover for about 10 minutes. Serve with extra BBQ Sauce and enjoy!
